One of the most important awards in Italy characterized by cultural multidisciplinarity, from literature to cinematography such as the one represented by the Sorrentine Peninsula Award directed by Mario Esposito, a dream location like that of Nave #Palinuro of the Italian Navy and a short film, Il Privilegio dell 'Ultima Onda conceived, scripted and produced by Neptune's writer Michele Cioffi under the direction of Stefano Aufiero, which reached its 14th award in just 50 days.

These are the ingredients for a dream ceremony in the Gulf of Naples experienced by the entire cast on Saturday 17 September aboard the magnificent sailing ship of the Navy.

The Privilege of the Last Wave which boasts a cast composed of Mino Sferra, Lorenzo Sferra, Sofia Proietti as actors, from the script of the aphorist Michele Cioffi, from the choreographer and consultant of the scenic movements Simona Retrosi, directed by Stefano Aufiero, the help Director Antonio Novi, sound engineer Mike Priore and the irreplaceable coordination of Antonio Di Ruocco, received the Honorable Mention after reaching the final overcoming a selection of 400 short films from all over the world.

We remind you that the prestigious jury of the Prize was composed by the scientific commission of the II level Master in Dramaturgy and Cinematography of the University of Naples Federico II for the contest: "Sea Tales", promoted among the projects and special activities of the twenty-seventh edition of "Sorrentine Peninsula Arturo Esposito" Award

The short film is now preparing to experience the final of the upcoming Prague, Berlin, Barcelona and New York Film Festivals.

The ceremony was repeated every day in a solemn form for a week, during which the tricolor, projected on the masts and yards of the ship, illuminated the nights in the lagoon.

The 2021 education campaign in favor of the pilot marshals will lead the Palinuro to sail both in the Adriatic Sea and in the Tyrrhenian Sea and will end on 25 July in La Spezia.

La cerimonia è stata ripetuta ogni giorno in forma solenne per una settimana, durante la quale il tricolore, proiettato sugli alberi e sui pennoni della nave, ha illuminato le notti in laguna.
