Delete a Sailing Event

You must be logged in to your soSAILize account to delete a sailing event of yours.

At the main menu click on "Sailing Events"

and choose "My Sailing Events"

and choose "My Sailing Events" button:

Either way, you will see a page something like this:

Click on the "event title" of the sailing event you would like to delete, in order to go to sailing event's main page.

In your sailing event's main page find the "going-invite-friends-like-options" buttons

and click the "options" one

Click on the option "Delete Event"

In pop-up message click either "cancel" or "delete" button

If "DELETE" is clicked then you see the following

Click "DONE" to go back to "My Sailing Events" page.

Create Sailing Event Page

The steps to create a sailing event are as follows:

You need to be Logged in to your account.

1. At the main menu click on "Sailing Events"

and choose "Create Sailing Event"

OR

2. On your profile menu click on "Sailing Events"

and choose "Create Sailing Event" button:

Either way, you will see a page like this:

Fill in fields: "Title", "Short description", "Full description".
Select "Invitation only event" option, or leave blank for "Open" type.
Select "Hide on list of events" option, or leave blank for Public listing.
Select the appropriate category:

Fill in "Location & full address" field. It is important to locate your sailing event correctly as it will be displayed on "sailing events map".
Select "Starting date & time" & "Ending date & time"
Select number of available seats of the event in "No. of Seats" option.
Select, if wanted, "Allow attendees to invite friends"option.
Diselect, if not wanted to "Enable photo sharing" or "Allow event members to add photos and albums"
Diselect, if not wanted to "Enable video sharing" or "Allow event members to add videos".
Select if wanted to "Create Paid/Free Ticket"

and Finally

Click "Create Sailing Event" button.

Congratulations! Your sailing event has been created. Click green OK button!

Import Sailing Events from iCal

Here are the steps to import multiple sailing events from iCal into your soSAILize account.

You need to be Logged in to your account.

1. At the main menu click on "Sailing Events"

and choose "Import Sailing Event"

OR

2. At your profile menu click on "Sailing Events"

and choose "Import Sailing Event" button:

Either way, you will see the following:

Click "Browse" to upload the file from your local computer.
Only iCal .ics file formats are allowed.

Click "Import Sailing Event" button.
