Stream items can become featured posts.

All members (signed in) can highlight their most important content and feature it only on their own profiles.

• Sign in and go to "My Profile" stream.
   
• Click "Settings" button at the right side of the item you want to feature, and select "Feature this activity"

 

Group and Event Admins can feature posts in their groups and events.

 

Site Admins can do it everywhere!
