This is what the Commander of the Vespucci, CV Giuseppe Lai, said at the end of the stop of the Amerigo Vespucci in Los Angeles. "We will leave Los Angeles this afternoon for Tokyo with an intermediate stop in Honolulu in Hawaii. The crossing of the Pacific Ocean will take almost two months. It will be a major challenge from a nautical point of view, particularly challenging both navigation and logistics, everything that surrounds this.
