KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Hudson River Maritime Museum announced
that Maiden, a 58-foot racing sailboat, will visit Kingston on Monday and Tuesday, April 20 and 21. The crew will give boat tours and conduct educational programs.
Local vessels Clearwater and Apollonia will also be in the area on the same dates to collaborate with educational programs and provide deck tours.
Made famous by a 2019 documentary, Maiden was sailed by the first all-female crew to compete in the Whitbread Round-the-World Race.
Boat owners interested in joining a flotilla that will escort Maiden up the Hudson on Sunday, April 19, or heading south on Wednesday, April 22, are encouraged to apply through our website.
