All seven Italian citizens that were on board a sailing boat the caught fire
for unknown reasons while sailing in the sea area northeast of the Ionian island of Antipaxi are safe and well.
The seven passengers of the sailing boat were transferred to another vessel while two coast guard vessels and a fire brigade vessel are rushing to the site of the accident.
Winds up to 4 on the Beaufort scale are blowing in the area.
After the fire that broke out on the sailing vessel that was sailing in the sea area northeast of Antipaxos, it finally sank.
No one was injured in the incident and everyone is in good health.
The seven Italian occupants of the vessel were immediately transferred to another vessel.
It was also fortunate that the sailboat had a small amount of fuel in its tanks.
However, absorbent dams have been installed at the site and debris from the sea is being collected
