Our weekly boating meetings are every Monday, upstairs at the Ballard Elks building, 6411 Seaview Avenue Northwest, Seattle, WA. There is plenty of free parking in the Elks parking lot. Social hour starts at 7PM and the boating meeting begins at 7:30. Just follow the signs at the ground floor of the Elks building then go upstairs and find the reception table. Mingle, buy a drink or food if you wish and start making friends.

These weekly boating meetings are where we announce our sailings, happy hours, festivals, potlucks, raftups, sailboat races and crew and volunteer opportunities. If you are new to Seattle's boating scene, this is where you can meet other boaters, sailors, skippers and crew in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There are typically 100+ people at Monday boating meetings.

If you want to join on a casual, per-week basis, there is a $10 charge for boating meetings—come sign up for any boat crew opportunities of the week. And if you want to jump right in, annual membership is only $150 with additional perks and volunteer opportunities.

Who are we? The Seattle Singles Yacht Club is an open, active organization of single adults who love boating and socializing, both on and off the water. We welcome experienced skippers, sailors and crew, as well as singles with minimal-to-no boating experience. Many of our experienced boaters are happy to share boating and sailing skills to newcomers. We're involved in the local community and your gateway to boating.

We are a non-profit, all-volunteer group with low dues because there is no clubhouse to maintain. And boat ownership or crew experience is not required—we just love boating. For boat trips, our skippers share their sail and power boats with our other members, who crew with them! So, if you are a single adult interested in meeting a great group of people, check us out.

We have three types of membership—Annual, Casual, or Skipper. Annual membership is only $150 per year and comes with special perks. Casual (per week) membership is $10 at the door or $15 on dance nights. Skippers who qualify do not pay membership fees because they are actively taking out our other members on their boats—just ask us for details.
