Every year, many events and exhibitions are organised : watersports initiations, contests, prize-giving or workshops.

NAUTIC DESIGN AWARDS

The Nautic Design Awards are organised by Nautic in partnership with Moteur Boat and Neptune, and recognise the best motorboat design at the show from a selection of dayboats and cruisers. For the past three years, this Contest has been introducing the public to exceptional boats with close-ups on their characteristics and interior/exterior designs.

Nautic Sup Paris Crossing - Nautic Paris Boat Show

NAUTIC SUP PARIS CROSSING

This year, the 7th edition of the Nautic SUP Paris Crossing will be held on Sunday 4th december 2016 in Paris. 600 participants, a hundred more than last year, will be crossing the Seine in the most beautiful city in the world. Two courses will be available: pro and leisure.

The lucky winners have to complete their registration before Sunday 23rd october.

Two wakeboarding events are being organised at Nautic 2016 by the FFSNW (French Federation of Waterskiing and Wakeboarding): Chicks on Tour and the final stage of the Two Tower Tour. Nautic Street Fishing - Nautic Paris Boat Show

NAUTIC STREET FISHING

The Nautic Paris Boat Show organises for the first time in 2016 the Nautic Street Fishing, a “no kill” urban fishing competition with lure bringing together the big community of fishermen in Paris.

In partnership with French Touch Fishing, the Union of Fishermen of Paris, the French Federation of Sport Fishing and Suzuki Marine, this is the opportunity for 150 pairs (300 competitors) to demonstrate their ability to catch the best fish in the capital!

You will find numerous exhibitions at the 2016 Nautic Boat Show:

The Éric Tabarly Association exhibition around the Pen Duick V: the first monohull with ballast tanks, and the forerunner to the Vendée Globe boats designed by Eric Tabarly.

The Zodiac exhibition: : to celebrate its 120th anniversary and the release of L’Odyssée, the film on Commander Cousteau, Zodiac Nautic is presenting a splendid reinterpretation of its iconic Seventies boat, the Mark II HERITAGE.

The Gitana exhibition: : this year, Ariane and Benjamin de Rothschild are celebrating 140 years of their family's passionate commitment to sailing through the story of the legendary Gitanas.
