mmm been a while since I made a video I
thought I would update a little bit
working on some chain plates I got some
stainless steel I ordered it from these
guys online metals comm that went into
focus or not anyway you can see Shane
didn't work it too long to get it shiny
just it's some 220 sandpaper and then
some 320 sandpaper and then wet sanded
with 800 grit sandpaper just a few
minutes polishing on the wheel the wheel
and I don't know it looks pretty good
I'm happy with it
I'm not polishing the whole thing
because only three inches or so sticks
out of the deck what else have I been
doing well one of my bigger hang-ups on
this boat project has been my mast I was
going to make new masts but I found a
couple on Craigslist
and I bought them and drove them home on
my own makeshift trailer that was that
was an adventure
so
anyway I'm gonna put some pictures of
the trip home with those went pretty
smoothly a lot of wide corners Rogers
mess but that's where I'm at at this
current point in boat project doctor
