today and we're all heading to the same
place

previously on trio hey guys
last time on trio we wandered around and
explored the historic town of st. Pierre
on the west coast of Martinique with
infamous Mount Pele as the backdrop we
heard of banana plantation got a little
lost in the mountains while doing some
exploring by car and had an up-close
encounter with the French Navy this time
a trio a little farther down the coast
we explore more of Martinique at the
towns of Lamoure N and st. Anne before
hauling anchor and setting sail for st.
Lucia and the majestic Pitons at the
islands southern end Martinique
everybody cool spot the st. Anne thank
you're just out front of Club Med nice
Beach go that way to st. Anne cute
little town in there it's gonna be
another one of those spots that's hard
to leave
rides over let's get more tokens is all
you say so this is how we go shopping
and I felt raindrops that's definitely a
rain cloud
the grocery store
in the minivan that's for sure
so everything along and the thing he
starts to sputter and die so we're doing
well we're not doing Astin Brad's doing
a little repair job on the fly good
thing that the waves aren't yeah the
waves are a little bit smaller in here
that's lucky because they were pretty
big back there we keep a little toolkit
on board for such occasions so hopefully
he's able to get it oh we're having
engine issues it just died on us he's
gonna Sivan get it going and if not
we'll take a tow I gotta get my nice
clean shorts all dirty
captain Bradd sees today we're golden
I wasn't too concerned
I'm never concerned that you always fix
it
all right
all right
companies that are based out of here
over there it's like math math math math
math math math
yeah
[Music]
going for another height yeah
just like that
so the kids are all horrified because
we're marking a comeback there is a male
nudity and there are coming
there are a couple guys that were
excited but they're real Chris that was
too shy to check about
it definitely like there's any more nude
guys up here but there was our share
back
we followed the trail and found this
gorgeous speech about a 40-minute truck
from st. Anne coal really wants to learn
to kitesurf aren't any surfing for that
matter so while we are there Andy and
Greg gave Cole a kite surfing lesson
using Greg's kite surfing trainer kite
the idea is that you thought of here
it's going to flat low you fight across
and then you
back this way once you get here you'll
get a big pool the wind flows right into
it they're certified their waking power
so if you want to fly from one side
together bring it up like that right oh
all right you don't big power then you
fly it down like that
and feel good like a little bit
get up and like super neutral and I like
this is like holding
right above your head that's like
and ready
it's spirit like this right
well you think of this place Krista come
to town in the morning it's always so
quiet and just kind of waking up
[Music]
[Music]
so we got a fish on a few weeks later we
reluctantly left Martinique for Saint
Lucia and points further south okay
[Music]
more serious
- Cole and I are trying to fish and
there's so much seaweed out here two
minutes after we put our hook out
we got seaweed on and sounds like a fish
but it's never a pet well just well
maybe it is but I highly doubt it
there's just too much seaweed we're
doing a good speed we're sailing along
at six point while anywhere from six
knots to seven and a half knots a minute
ago that's great for fishing fish like
that speed but I'm breaking mine in for
good because I just put it out I really
put it out really so that reel it in
we're getting close to our destination
flying along today
good day good morning
well a bad day of fishing turned into a
great day of sailing Cole read a book
Christa made a tasty lunch we talked on
the VHF with her friends on the
catamaran so wet and before we knew it
we were arriving at the majestic Pitons
on the southern end of st. Lucia on the
Cullinan
[Music]
okay cool we'll keep our eyes
okay Roger that
and there's st. Lucia and down here are
the famous Pitons so that's our goal for
this evening and then tomorrow we will
do this pass in here to st. Vincent
which is this island will go around st.
Vincent apparently security issues are a
little bit risky there at Saint Vincent
from all the reports you've heard it's
no big deal we'll skip by and we're
gonna go to this little island which is
called Bequia supposed to be beautiful
and mystique and then these are they
these are the Grenadines and the Tobago
keys in here carry a coup is there too
and then we arrived at the Pitons oh
yeah look at that
just peeking over the point back and
this is such a different island again
like only 25 miles away from the last
one but it looks so different
hi buddy thank you
yes
okay
they're the second
well that was nice better than the
experiences we've heard about little
village there I guess he said are you
going to a boy I can help you get one
I'll guide you in we're coming into the
Piton guys so beautiful you gotta check
this out
now I feel like I'm somewhere exotic
feels like what the South Pacific might
look like a little preview
okay
CAES have calmed right out for us and
you can see st. Vincent's straight ahead
we are now in the 13th latitude amazing
