rich Christi and Tyler and this is our

home a catamaran sail boat named sale

pending travel along with us and sail on

sale pending all right nice plus we'll

see you today we are heading back into

Santiago de Cuba to have lunch with our

friend out of Berto this time we decided

to take the ferry because it's the only

one so you see each way while all the

adults sat in the back Tyler and Cole

ask the captain if they could sit in the

wheelhouse

[Music]

and then even with Tyler and cold

driving we made it to Santiago de Cuba

[Music]

a friend out of our cell is there

waiting for us

we lost about 10 blocks to his house

[Music]

one of the very first things we noticed

on got into Cuba was that there's no

garbage anywhere the streets almost look

like they're swept sailing this is a

pleasant difference from all the other

Peruvian islands that we have visited

[Music]

the Garces home is located on a quiet

street we went inside and they made us

feel right at home

[Music]

they had a beautiful table set up in the

middle of the living room already for us

to eat lunch we had a delicious lunch of

fish for rice green salad fried

plantains and use' outer-borough

remember the richest for hot sauce while

we were at his restaurant so we even had

a bottle of Tabasco on the table for

Richard after lunch out of Birkins

in-laws showed us pictures of the entire

family was such a wonderful afternoon it

was a day that we will never forget out

of Berto walk this back to the square

where we met up with our friends the

family's off of sandy feet and salt air

three we all got into an old converted

Chevy box truck and took a tour around

the city

as you tour Santiago de Cuba you feel

like you're in an old movie for has

taken a step back in time cars from the

40s and 50s are driving through the

streets and cigar smoke fills the air he

found a food vendor who was selling raw

oyster shooters and you know rich and I

can't say no to Roy's first he puts

about six to eight raw oysters into a

baby our position is all available next

he adds a glass of fresh-squeezed like

you

do that a tablespoon of homemade hot

sauce for tonight

it gives them a quick stir and then add

was getting late and time to go back to

the ferry we broke open a Boston cigars

and sat there and waited for the ferry

to arrive I think travel in Cuba is

going to be a blast and it's even going

to be more fun because we have a group

of friends all with similar interests

and same age kids
