last week we learn that trouble does

indeed exist in paradise our time on the

island of Hulihee nay had been one boat

drama after another with the wind

howling at our backs we finally decided

it was time to move on and test our luck

elsewhere but of course the weather

followed and we headed to the island of

Taha with some of the worst seas we had

ever seen we're just pulling into riot

hat and they had definitely been the

windiest and bumpiest ride we've had in

a long time we've actually got our life

jackets on we should probably have those

on more often than we do but this is

time we actually felt like we might have

had a bit of a but a danger so we've

been holding on tight and trying to stay

safe and get into riot - as soon as

again situated west of hua cine the

islands of riot and Taha our sister

islands they share one large Lagoon

inside of a massive coral reef we had

originally wanted to head south to riot

a but with the weather the only thing we

had on our minds was getting to the safe

Anchorage before dark

looks like we weren't feeling well smbus

we had heard nothing but amazing

accounts of how absolutely gorgeous

these islands were the idyllic flat

turquoise water hammocks under palm

trees the whole shebang unfortunately

the only Anchorage safe enough to anchor

in was full of icky brown mud Beauty had

take a back seat this time slightly

nauseous and 100% over being tossed

around

we went immediately to shore to shake

out our ceiling

huh the Rose wanted something I got bugs

in my hair keep on getting stuck very

pretty jungle like we haven't done any

hiking we've done a lot of hiking but

nothing like this pretty cool Papa Pope

up off the boat find a trailhead and

just go explore and see what kind of

bad news is that the Cook Islands are

700 miles away we still have some sights

to see before leaving French Polynesia

so suddenly we were in a rush to get a

move on

but not without a quick workout on deck
