share our travels from Killarney to vape

in we enjoy sailing before heavy winds

caused us a bumpy ride heading into the

freshwater pure during your stay we see

natural wonder surrounding the area

including a dinosaur friend mountains

all around us

another successful stop in the North

although we have seen so many beautiful

places we were ready to start heading

back to Michigan we made plans to visit

my family in Alpena and would be meeting

friends in Detroit for a bachelorette

party during the upcoming news

our first stop backtracking the North

channel would be tagged along we had an

awesome sale over the wins worth 20

knots for most of the day but late

afternoon gave us gusts over 30

eventually we decided to take the sail

down and motor the remaining portion it

would only be a few more miles but the

waves are picking up typically in this

area the winds build throughout the day

and die off before the evening soon

enough we were anchored in their safe

harbor with palm waters all around us we

arrived around 6 p.m. made plans to hit

Meldrum Bay the next day in Rogers City

the following day after that we took the

dogs for a long walk to find the bridal

veil falls a cog along

we sell lots of interesting things along

the way and many small waterfalls

leading up to the main attraction as

there's a waterfall nearby or a trail to

hike we'll always make time to enjoy it

the first time I've ever been behind or

under a waterfall look at that

quite the breeze

a lot a

a lot of mess

now we're going back as I'm soaking wet

the winds continue to blow and the waves

kept building it's always hard to tell

how big the waves are from this film but

these got to triple the size before

deciding that Gorobei would instead be

our destination for the day and it's a

really pretty town really no they were

definitely it was a relief to be back on

land and have a dock in Gore Bay we

refueled with some food and enjoyed a

picture of swingbridge before going back

to the boat

then Darren found some issues with the

belt on our altimeter we had installed a

new alternator on Drummond Island yep it

was still giving us issues in gorban the

belt wouldn't stay tight and slips when

our engine is running while he was

trying to tighten the belt a bolt

snapped in the engine block

we stayed a couple of extra days than

we'd like due to this happening and

still could not get the job done

ourselves we even tried to leave at one

point but it was necessary to get it

fixed for our journey to Roger City we

call the mechanic who would hopefully

help us get us on our way the next

afternoon we made the best of being in

Gore Bay and met some incredible people

who even offered me a ride to get to my

responsibilities instead of dwelling on

the issues we went back to buoys

although we had vote issues we still

have an enjoyable time in Gore Bay

no one says the sailing life would easy

next time I'm feeling sick to gypsies we

share with you the rest of our journey

through Lake Huron into Lake Erie we say

goodbyes to families along the way and

decide to continue traveling full time
