thought how sad it would be if he became

we're not here and people on selling a

lot and he's just like lying under this

and it's a always a difficult decision

because one doesn't actually know what

is the right or wrong thing to do

because even on YouTube when I put

videos up about mooss we get many

comments that are contradicting each

other so a lot of people are like man

that dog should be removed from the

island and be with people and other

people are like you cannot remove the

dog from the island

we don't know I mean there are certain

facts that cannot be ignored is that at

some point in time you won't be able to

move correctly I mean we'll know I mean

there's so many people going there we'll

know when this happens and that'll be

the time to bring in check the guys well

I'm sure you watched part 1 of this

Sonia such amazing people a very

distraught Anna and a really nice to

have caring friends like this well he

suggests that we fly out to Moose and go

and evaluate him one more time together

today this to go and check up on the dog

intake and came up with the idea of a

registry book for mooses visitors they

wrote mooses life story in French and

he seems to be really struggling you see

you know with his moving and I was

thinking exactly the same thing I think

he won't move me one tear like feed

himself as you know today we want to

remember when we tried to pair the leash

on him you never know he went man

there's plenty of energy stuff

so how does one actually know when a

dog's time is up I mean is it an obvious

sign that Lucky's got days left or ya

know quality of life but do you see it

in kidneys failing or organs failing so

it's normally just you can see in the

quality of life the dog is less

interested I mean the first time we came

here he was all over us the second time

we came in he was still all over us he

was struggling a little bit but he was

still and this time he's just not

interested you know when he sees that

food he gets a little interesting yeah

he's getting a lot of food yeah but

maybe now with cyclone season coming in

he might not get as much food he so yeah

we all lose taking a look at our ears

he's not looking as responsive as he

normally is he's just sort of lying

under the tree over there and I'm just

wondering about your thoughts you know

as a professional what do you think

moose is going through it's just old age

had such an active life it's like a high

level sport person that's right so his

own and so what I was thinking is

bringing you coming here with a kennel

you know we have to sedate him because

there's no way we're gonna be able to

put him in a kennel or even catch him

without any sedation we've seen that

from last trip did you remember yeah we

just put a leash on him and he went

completely blue and mad yeah he looks

really calm like this but there's no way

you can put a leash on him even the

lagoon protection agents agency that was

here they told us they could not remove

the dog no way he refuses to leave his

island so what we do is sedate him put

him in a kennel and then speed him back

to to my clinic and what happens if he

wakes up in route so she was saying that

if you sedate the dog he loses body

temperature right yeah well just a short

15 minute sedation just so that we can

put him in the in the kennel the kennel

okay and then well he'll wake up in the

kennel but yeah there's no way you can

go yeah it's a very strong kennel is it

like a pet itself corner and he what do

you think the process would be how does

one talk to these people who claim to

own moose here's a here's a Facebook

page so we need to we need to start

talking about that on Facebook on

something that needs to be managed to

yeah just to sort of nobody surprise but

looks good he's actually saying he's

been well fed he's had good food but

he's just struggling now with the

arthritis and so on it's not easy for

him
