the top of the hour it's 1:30 we got to

make the next bridge five miles away by

two actually this was supposed to open

at 1:30 it's about 120 he's opening 10

minutes early for us awesome figure

they gotta work

think it'll like it would take a get the

trying to make it to the next bridge on

we jump up to 6 1 yeah

two miles 10 minutes we do it

we've booked it as fast as we could and

we are late but

don't talk to the beard operator and he

might be nice enough to open it up for

us anyways

just fast the dolphin bridge is opening

at the Wrightsville bridge sky was nice

enough to keep or open it for us even

though we were late always be nice to

your bridge operators

the Carolina Beach

such a cool place right here on the

intercoastal opens up to this small

Inlet

coming into Carolina Beach here neat

area cool houses over there the weather

is fantastic

and we're gonna grab a mooring here at

least that's the plan and I might stay

here for a while

we'll see I'm gonna do a little more

research than I maybe get a little

further south but from what we know this

is a decent place stay for a while

here's the mooring Carolina Beach

Jonathan got the thing he working he had

to clean out the crater it's work you

know it was really dirty because it was

sitting for a year got some sea foam and

some unleaded gas running through it and

she's working good he's just running out

the kinks

gonna find out who runs these moorings

so I can pay for my stay supposedly

there's a coffee shop right over there

somewhere that's kind of a hidden gem

here according to some people online

yeah might be here for a while

biggest waves I've seen on the East

Coast

I haven't been around on the east but

this is the biggest I've seen

Carolina Beach might be staying here for

a while this kind of reminds me of

dear kitchen a little look sure the

house is there on the water you can see

the boat

outlaw standing on top half pipe I'm

about to drop in for a set

restrooms we just had some coffee at the

Java coffee shop here I'll get the name

right later Java something great coffee

if you ever here in Carolina Beach

it's excellent coffee Eric runs the shop

Rhonda is usually there working and she

helped us out help me Rhonda help help

me around us she helped me out with the

address for sending my new computer so I

can make videos better and I sent it to

the post office in Kure Beach which is

that way about five miles so I'm happy

to get down to pier beach I'll probably

just go along the beach doing it here's

Donna getting ready to drop in for set

hey just remember just remember you're

getting older hey now we don't have a

board just got some coffee gonna jump in

the dinghy here and head back to the

boat and Donnell is gonna give me a list

of things I need to do

he's gonna give me a list of things I

need to work on and at the morning right

now it's 20 dollars a night

what if I'm gonna be here long term

that's coming if I'm gonna be here long

term that's gonna add up

Donna's rocking the dock if I'm gonna be

I'm gonna just go beyond the mooring

over there right about where that guy's

paddling and I'm gonna drop the hook and

hopefully uh I won't drag anchor too

much but I don't think in this area well

I will too much cuz there's not a lot of

not a whole lot of clearance and winds

right ocean bees should be sitting

pretty there for a little while

you take this straight up and you get

right to the coffee shop and then the

beach is the next street over pretty

nice setup here the public restrooms

there and a little shop that you

convenience store there's outdoor

showers there too guys

did you see after shadows Oh golden all

language dragged into the channel or hit

or run aground on the marshes darken

leaves today not to get lonely not

really I'll be all right all right Donna

saying goodbye to the boat there he is

proud owner happiest day of his life

so Don just gotten his uber he said it

to Wilmington to pick up a rental car

he's going back home to Vero Beach and

I'm on my own now so hopefully

everything goes smoothly my experience

just just left me but I did gain some

experience from that experience I'll be

all right
