spelunking and seeing some crazy views
of the Atlantic Ocean and this video is
for you
right now hello once again to Danielle
and beans an endless hurricane hi thanks
for checking in abuja de living my name
is Dean along with my lovely wife
Danielle we sold our house in suburbia
and we moved on to a sailboat and we're
traveling the oceans of the world we
hope that by bringing you along on our
adventures will inspire you to see the
world from a little bit different
perspective we call that vuja de living
on this channel you'll see exciting
places meet interesting people who are
living outside the nine to five grind

techniques for making some money and
gaining a little bit more time in your
life so that you can start crossing off
some of those items on your bucket list
this video is a third in our series on
the island of eleuthera in the Bahamas
in it we meet a family from Iowa who
decided they're all gonna go cliff
jumping together we see a place called
cathedral cave which was one of our
favorites in the Bahamas a whole lot of
bats and we cook up some crabs a big
bunch of crabs that I'd caught the day
before if you're new to the channel
please consider hitting the subscribe
button in the lower left-hand corner
we'd love to have you aboard the blue
jean day crew and as always any comment
below gets a reply from us so here we go
cliff jumping cave spelunking and a
whole pile of crabs another hidden
surprise we just saw a sign that said
the cliffs so we turned in and chickened
out on driving through the sand here
little car and I think we're gonna see
some people jump from great heights
which looks like great heights anyway
this is just
some amazing geography out to the
Atlantic Ocean I mean the whole coast
seems to be like this and just beautiful
beautiful water you want to say your
last goodbyes for the world to see
what's your name
[Music]
Eddie likes people living Eddie
[Music]
can't let dad show us up
[Music]
[Applause]
while looking for the cathedral cave in
the bats we stumbled upon a place called
boiling hole which apparently is a blue
hole that is closely connected to the
sea or the ocean I'm not sure which way
but it when the tides come in let's play
supposedly bubbles and that's why they
call it the boiling hole so we decided
to go and investigate a little bit and
see the little path that goes to a
boiling hole it's kind of a pretty plate
and Yale has already said she is not
swimming in the boiling hole and it
looks pretty gunky
we'll make our path or home a boiling
hole and see what we can find
now we have this theory that the
directions we read to get here that the
cave we're looking for is right behind
the blue hole so we're gonna keep
following this path through the jungle
and see what we can find
I thought this was kind of a cool
looking tree right in the middle of our
path where we're going we still don't
know none we go from the tree we must be
on the right path because we're finding
bridges and and it's rock line path
seems to me well-worn
I'm guessing we have arrived making our
descent into the cave go in cave
spelunking giant roots whoa whoa that's
big and dark although there's light on
the end of the tunnel I think we should
go explore
[Music]
[Music]
oh and I was gonna like this yes ma'am
there are bats everywhere in here you
can see the little dots on the wall
those are bat it's a pretty cool place
[Music]
there's brakes hop in the cave obviously
let's create light down here which makes
it pretty darn neat welcome place
[Music]
and lock Tabasco en route to the trees
these big wooden things here root to the
treat from out outside above-ground I
guess
deeper into the cave and of course
people have to leave their mark whoever
DG and SB EB are good for you guys and
the rusty you degenerates I just have to
screw up a neat place you know that's
one thing I have to say about the
Bahamas is that it hasn't lots of people
say they like the people it hasn't been
very impressive for me there's trash on
the side of the roads and it reminds me
of when we were sailing in Malaysia in
third world countries that people just
either don't have the mental fortitude
to think about what they're doing when
they're tossing their beer bottles out
of their car or they just don't care and
this kind of thing I know it's probably
just kids but it just just goes back to
having just a little bit of respect for
the environment and for why people
actually come to this place it's not
because it's the greatest place in the
world that's because the environment is
supposed to be beautiful and they're
just trashing it and it's a shame
these cobwebs right here spider webs or
Danielle's favorite part in this whole
place
big giant spiders
[Music]
and there you have it we didn't go down
into those holes it's a bad idea we're
going into the bowels of the cave
Danielle thinks this is a bad idea Wow
this just doesn't show up very well I
know
[Music]
so I'm gonna try the old way just
keeping it real yo
oh so much more authentic geez I can't
hold the camera okay I can see why they
built the platform oh but this is so
much more fun here we are outside and
and look down almost like going into a
hole
but we would have seen three platform
days oh well I guess they didn't want me
to do that they built the little
Danielle down on the platform they built
the little fence to keep me from leaving
[Music]
on the other side of the fence and
wonder if we can see me this guy right
here
oh yeah I guess you can day is winding
down did I find Dingle
we came tarpon Bay a little place just
north of rock sound where we're anchored
and we're gonna go over and see the
tarpon bait fisherman just see what
you're making
what's that come on Mickey I don't know
what that is that's a bush it's a bush
good manly come at me you eat it
you drink it all the tea did the man
mighty know about that yeah
I'm just looking at what you guys are
catching keep trying to catch them look
at that they look like little Bonita
we need a goodie really we use them for
bait we should be eating them huh cuz I
can't catch anything else therefore well
you left all the Stingers on when you do
the lionfish yeah are there certain ones
you take off or you just leave them on
no I just feel in them right and you
don't take the things off huh
unless you were to fry oil probably oh I
thought you were supposed to take them
off so you didn't hurt yourself they get
hurt they can't or you know they don't
do anything when they're dead that's too
many times
at least they don't do nothing to me oh
you got stuff does it hurt
yeah a little bit a little bit
yeah I don't know he looks like he knows
what he's doing
I mean you better stick with the suit of
armor and now we have been to all of
these places on hatchet they are on
hatchet Bay all of these places on
Eleuthera Island we sailed there drove
there today the crab season ends in a
couple days and after long day up and
down
Eleuthera four-count where we were up
and down Eleuthera we got back on the
boat and yesterday I went out and I
caught these guys and I blow them up
last night and we had him in the fridge
cooling off and Danielle is about to
bust into one right now
and we're gonna see what it's like and
she said that that one isn't cooked so
that's a real bummer
this may be a crap
we had a fail with the crabs it was the
first time I'd ever done whole crabs
like that and we don't know if I didn't
boil them enough for what so we put them
out in the freezer because it's getting
late and we're really tired and we're
gonna do them again tomorrow because
they're still fresh we're gonna boil the
water up again it takes forever to boil
water on our boat we don't know why but
we may also grill them too so we're
gonna have more time tomorrow so big
fail on the crabs tonight but we're not
quitting
don't quit hey thanks for watching until
next time live different if you're moved
leave a comment below we'd love to hear
from you and hit the like button
[Music]
