today we've come to see what's around

the coastline we are sick of sitting on

that boat and we can't go anywhere

you had the insurance guy come out and

he's told us we're not allowed to move

so we're waiting for them so what's a

bit of the insider Sardinia but today

we're just going to go along the

coastline from the marina wrap which is

arbitrates a really nice marina quite

reasonably priced for the Mediterranean

random little petting zoo with this town

Elsie's just over that you've got

massive storm the thunder and lightning

is like so loud keeps coming down over

there that's kind of everywhere

absolutely hailing it down

this brings back very bad memory it's

very exciting today because I get to

give Ryan a haircut so I don't quite

know how this has happened because you

were meant to go for breakfast in a

wetsuit yeah Oh leave one you want to

cut my hair and you haven't done

breakfast in a wet suit you're still

combing my hair yeah no because we

haven't got the money to get it done

Brooklyn all right pops you're actually

right in the way babe can wear some even

well no it's just my hair so hair shape

all right all right my father on the

other hand Leah he's um he's basically

feels like you just taking chunks out

rather than actually going on oh you're

I dread to think what the back of it's

like why are you I hate guys in

different directions and I got to go

we actually are getting somewhere now

sort of there's a few bald patches isn't

so just to give you a quick update we

had a response from the electrical

repair company and they said that they

can't get all of the parts in until the

14th of October which is like three

weeks from now so we thought the best

thing would be for Ryan to go home and

work for a little bit and try and get

some money so that's what he's done I

mean probably have been left to fend for

ourselves which so far is gone all right

actually we're both still alive we're on

day three so we have still got like

another 18 days left and so anything

could happen but fingers crossed we're

both still here at the end of the few

weeks or at least puppies I think Ryan

would be more angry that poppy wasn't

here than Rick

whilst Ryan was away my main task was

ordering all the little bits that we

needed to repair the boat and go into

the post office to see if it was there

so you walk from over there through I

normally go the back way because puppy's

got a bit of a habit of going to the

toilet just outside that bar which is

always really embarrassing probably

always posed to these little bits of

grass think she saw one lizard there and

now she's just obsessed she just comes

and stands like this so just waits for

him come on we're gonna miss the post of

this

so this is the post office I've just

been in there's no post you've got mad

storm going on it's been how stones are

still stockpiling now

all the house signs about the size of

alone

I hope our cell bag

I mean it's broken anyway but I've got a

lot

so these those things are really quite

big a snowy deserve

oh come in

oh my god

so we've got some horrible wind today

it's the dick tips get to about 42 knots

here on the other side of the island is

were amazing for dry moisture 9 the wind

was mental and you can see that our

light wind sow is still up it's the one

moving around at the front of the boat

here I definitely should have got it

down and you'll see why in a minute

everyone's out panicking a little bit

you can see here the light wind sail

isn't up anymore it's actually tied down

on the deck now the wind got to well

over 40 knots

and even though the light wind sail was

tied up unfurled at the top and

gradually as the wind took it it came

out down to about one-third of the way

up from the deck it took me in three men

to get it under control and eventually

down the force of the wind on the sail

made it impossible to control

and unfortunately the sail at the top

was shredded and the UV strip along the

edge of the sail had been completely

ripped off I was so annoyed at myself

for not getting it down it's just

another thing to add to our repair list

oh this is horrible it's not getting any

better I think we're into the second

hour of it now

I like when this isn't very good but

poppy and I say everything else is is

tied up and put a sell tie around the

jib and I tied up the main a little bit

more

it's just horrible

I don't know if you can hear but the

wind is still howling and the waves it's

still pretty big coming into the marina

not been the funnest of day it's

supposed to stay pretty much like this

all night and I probably could sleep but

I am a little bit nervous because I'm on

my own so I probably start a little bit

and just see what happens if it doesn't

calm down sitting at about 20 knots of

the minute but even that bad

it goes a lot higher it's just not this

it's not very fun

but when you write it anyway

papi literally could not care less are

you worried pops you worry too so just

chill in move your tongue out it started

to come down about four in the morning

it's not very nice been on the boat on

your own when it's like that and I was

definitely looking forward to Ryan
