last week we checked out amazing
Cappadocia Turkey before getting back to
the boat and preparing to leave this
week we visit two very different
Anchorage's and were excited to set sail
into the psyche ladies food check water
and fuel check gas checked checked out
ëcause check there's no better feeling
than dropping the lines and heading out
of the marina knowing your adventures
are about to begin again even more so
after I planned two days in the marina
turned into two months due to weather
injury in mast image and visa
restrictions we were finally on our way
although we were leaving safety into the
unknown were engulfed by sense of
freedom exhilaration and relief after
looking at the weather forecast we knew
it would be motoring initially and then
we could set sail again most of the way
to a stop alia an awesome sunrise was a
perfect start to our adventure
[Music]
I'll let you go just eat some time at
your place you need to find a way
[Music]
now you'll never change your mind
[Music]
something to me you do not know a factor
guys we'll be on our way
[Music]
just come down below for the first time
today Jackson showed me that the freeze
is locked
[Music]
convenien had a first dolphin encounter
only for me to capture two seconds worth
there they go after a great sale we
sight the cliffs of aster palea and our
anchorage is hidden inside
[Music]
cook at the sea is calm
just wait
for better days to come and carry us
like wind in our sails
[Music]
I can smell sure it's right in front of
us if we choose Oh
[Music]
we're in vasee on esta pelea island we
just got here we've spent the day
sailing from cause it was a really good
day we had about 15 20 knots all day
pretty consistently on the beam so it
was quite good and the weather was it's
getting warmer here not that it looks
very warm now but it was about 17
degrees and the Sun was out so yeah we
had a really good day this Anchorage is
really nice and calm we came here
because there's a bit of our weather
again coming through the psyche ladies
so we are planning to cross once that
goes through and we will wait it out
here what's your opinion of the dolphins
today oh well I miss the Dolphins I
slice all like about two seconds of
dolphins because I was trying to be Sun
smile and for the zinc on and then I got
this frantic call by trace going by some
problem then I run up and she's like
donuts donuts donuts and yeah we didn't
capture more than maybe yes the second
of it so it's be disappointing but
awesome mm-hmm
alright so we just about to leave Aarthi
in hasta palea it's been a great three
days it's a really safe calm Anchorage
was blind 40 and we really didn't feel
anything in here so anyone's ever
looking to get out of a big blow I would
come here we're now off to earn a fee
which is about 36 nautical miles it's
blind 15 to 20 and Ceaser probably one
or two meters so here we go
[Music]
waiting for something
[Music]
where are traveling almost down down
wind and the waves are almost directly
behind us so it's a lot nicer now we had
I don't know how many hours three hours
beating up into it and the waves of
light lives around after kaalia so it's
very nice now and we're not exactly sure
how far it's going because the day
started if you have a point two hour
trip so maybe about 20 20
[Music]
it was telling me
Scot keep on keepin on
[Music]
how's it going good
she's handling it well so all in all
it's a nice out promo fishing fishing
lines out so fingers crossed we get a
tuner or something like that would be
awesome
who would think as we approach 2 NAAFI
are brought in the fishing lines no luck
and as we rounded the southern headland
we had very little sail up due to the
expected strong Gus
[Music]
although this encourages picturesque
there was a swirl that seemed to wrap
itself around the island as it was on
the southern end and a northerly had
been blowing for a few days
