previously on Moneypenny after all that

hard work we finally got round to

splashy and then a good chunk of that

hard work was undone by a spring storm

the pop my Fender okay welcome to the

engine room so spring maintenance is

actually really relatively simple we put

a big new oil filter er right there and

then we put on you Phil fuel filter on

as well but that's around the other side

we can't really see it we also change

the filter in the in the rake or so we

have double filtration and we cleaned

out the fresh water filter because she's

real water cooled then the only other

thing to check is and where is it now

they're down there a little bronze pad

right there behind that is the is the

impeller which pumps in the Royal water

for the cooling and then we also check

the oil in the sale drive which goes

down the dipstick right there and she

says she's very good and after we did

let she started right up

alright so the first thing we want to do

before we go anywhere is to check the

oil so you just clean the inner dipstick

and then get oops and then get a reading

on how oil level we're pretty good very

little though but we're not bad so the

last bit of spring maintenance that we

did was to change out the fuel gauge

right there nice and shiny and new and

we also put a new sender from the from

the fuel tank down to to the gauge

because before last year this wasn't

this wasn't working very well so now we

turn the fuel gauge on we can see that

the gauge actually works and tells us

how much field is in the tank which is

wonderful anything left to do now is see

if she starts

Rosa little bit and then make sure that

she's pumping so we checked our oil we

don't all the spring maintenance you're

ready to actually finally car stop with

a Caesar one last thing we like to do is

a radio check to make sure all our

systems and working a lot of people do

radio checks on Coast Guard channels we

try to avoid that so we're actually just

going to call up Brent on a boat in the

adjacent other yes yes yes same vessel

didn't actually film putting penny back

on the camp I kind of needed all my

hands to make sure that I got back in
