so we finally got moving then some wind
in the sail when the run amazing
you
morning Kevin how was your night hmm
sleepless what happened well we're in a
lot of obey and it is very picturesque
and we weren't supposed to have any wind
at all but the gusts of wind during the
night were anything up to 30 knots which
was turning the boat all the way around
all the time and he seemed to be out of
the of the boat quite a few times onto
the deck what we doing well first of all
tied the rig down because was blowing
across the day then all the lines from
the cockpit were just flapping around
all over the place and you just can't
just can't sleep no just make sure it
wasn't dragging but it wasn't but it
seemed like it was yeah I suppose it's a
first lesson for the first night wasn't
it really when it's this gusty it's a
bit of a shock to the system isn't it
because I mean we we couldn't settle at
all and I got some sleep luckily and I
feel terrible but you've managed to do
is for a couple of hours I think I'll
suffer for a bit fully clothed ready to
dive out the door just in case and but
the anchor stayed sound and well done
see what today broken ankle experience
it is experienced and it's experience we
didn't expect to have in the first night
when I was supposed to become alright
we'll see what the day brings me they
bring more I'm sure yeah
how's it going it's good nobody win this
morning what speed are we doing we are
not and we not win okay what time did we
leave this morning I'm sorry
and what'd you have for breakfast you
know I lied bananas on a boat so you
keep telling me any foods but that's no
excuse yeah that's a beautiful morning
absolutely stunning bit cold
you
you
morning Kevin how's it going
yesterday's a day I'll to forget I think
first bill they say the best day we
could devote follow me well the windows
on the nose so we was no sailing so
we're under the engine and all of a
sudden if you stop what engine receptors
with no no power at all just the sails
so from that point we decided that we'd
have to sail somewhere and buy some
shelter somewhere that we could actually
have the water and so we decided on
earth the bay and three-quarters of the
way into the bay we were accosted by the
Turkish Navy who informed this there it
was a restricted area and we weren't
amount of stuff even though we told them
that the engine was kaput they still
tell us where to turn around so we have
to turn around and fly some wind we then
decided on another bay which was ok
because the wind was behind us we sailed
into the Little Bay we're anchored which
was quite good to say is that on the
sail yeah good and then we proceeded to
contact GGG yachting so we spend the
night with normal eBay very nice very
carful I had about 7 hours 12 hours
sweet feeling - good why won't you
feeling - good
seasick yeah we got seasick
and third MC Gigi they said Tarbuck
sported and the guy cake with mechanic
came and he's fixed problem and we're
underway again still helping with Domino
sailing all in all it was the data
remember yesterday hopefully they really
happened again yeah the engine started
cutting out making some strange sounds
and yeah just switched off all together
so all of a sudden it was quick get the
sail so even though we had not bloomin
wind and we were in quite tight spot
actually we were close to an island
which is only in the end on our port
side and the landmass on the starboard
side which meant we didn't have a lot of
leeway to actually try and maneuver
which is quite hairy wasn't it it was a
bit scary in fact that we've only been
sailing for a couple of days and we had
to get the wind we had no no other way
of getting into Marmaris but we had
actually contacted the the marina in
Marmaris Albatros marina and marmaris
and they were going to send a rib out
but we weren't quite sure when we
managed to pick some wind up in the end
and we got into the bay and then we were
boarded by the guys from the Albatross
marina who we're also monthly oh they
were brilliant absolutely brilliant the
guy just brought it in under sail and
just lured it against the pontoon well
all under sail rush was just amazing to
see brilliant so that was good so we've
got we are over night here and some of
that electric we've got water and
they've had a look at the engine yeah
the guys have been again this morning
and apparently the well the alternators
shot that's had it so we're having a new
alternator fitted we're waiting for that
now and the other issue was fuel we
apparently the fuel line and was empty
so we're not quite sure what happened
there but I won't go into detail on that
one because we are really doing my deed
I am got clear what happened there so
that's all sorted apparently we'll see
when we get going again
look a bit wet
got in one system looky there
mr. Bishop did you get it so what do we
do
we go what
he's got to eat very well
I can show you where we were
outside
it's absolutely
remove this because
you
yeah so this is a big contrast that you
get in two days in Turkey yesterday was
horrendous have you rain 35-knot winds
today dead calm beautiful morning
look through the boat was Lord better
last night so we got a better night's
sleep
what morning of the mornings mana
just getting ready to go out now
walk into town get a few provisions
while everything dries out
you
