in this week's video you find us dodging

reef sharks while slapping up the coral

scenery at duncan reef we get a visit

from dolphins as we head into brooke

islands where we spot coconut trees

therapy coconut this sends us into a

frenzy as we immediately hit to shore on

a mission to top up our coconut coffers

[Music]

if you tuned in last week you would have

watch down take you through a tutorial

on how to service your sheet winches

there were more reef adventures as we

wound our way through bombings to Hunter

shipwreck Lauren coming in between

Duncan Reef and an unnamed reef that we

called the boomerang there's a fair

current running so we need to be on our

toes with our navigation in the channel

between the two reefs

it's like a big clamshell over there

babe

you could warp on that so we'll try and

avoid walking on it upon arrival down

gives the anchor winch a spot of grease

then we send the drone up to check out

the sights duncan reef is a

horseshoe-shaped reef about two normal

miles long lying directly east of the

murray river north of Cardwell in Far

North Queensland there looks to be a

sandy came near a small Lagoon with

fairly deep drop-offs along the reef

edges and large protected areas in which

to swim and explore we were eager to

check out the underwater world here and

were delighted to spot a variety of fish

including a few reef sharks who by their

actions were on the hunt

beautiful cuz you were away filming

other stuff and then then this massive

big school of blackfish camp going by

and they were they shanked by those

black tip sharks yeah citing it as I

[Music]

[Laughter]

Wow that's just so cool has that big

shock that we signed first oh yeah yeah

that one was quite big oh god they were

quiet and they were sort of doing this

as they were something and I knew they

were sort of on the hunt

yeah I've put me hard great hunting

ground oh that's great all of them

family right cool Duncan right that's a

winner

yeah I wish I could say that this side

is a little bit longer

oh well there'll be another roof there's

another roof another day

fabulous what a gorgeous day

no how do you weigh waaahh fantastic

with the weather closing in it's time to

hit the shelter

is this dolphins dolphins it's just one

of life's wonderful moments that you can

only get by being on the ocean I just

love it so special so special times

awesome is blessing our trip you came to

say hello how good was that god I

tremendous hey I think it was yeah Obama

was caught big but yeah that the other

one was a little bit standoffish but

yeah how to ride a bear way

could be good what you're doing you see

those big boats come through the water

yeah this is so much fun tiny have a lot

of time yeah

no he was great so we're starting to

come across quite a few other vessels

now it's really nice being out at the

reef I have to say because especially in

the green zones no one really goes there

because they can't push

so I guess that's the reason and it's so

lovely because it's just us and nature

and we can just hang out in their

environment and just really chill out

and really connect

I love being underwater and Darren we

both were talking about this earlier how

we feel like we just we could breathe

underwater it's so natural it's such a

lovely place to be you sort of forget

where you are

well here we are at the northbrook's

or the brook islands and yeah it's been

a lovely calm anchorage overnight the

reef Anchorage's are a little bit Rolly

although they are stunning so that's a

reason to go out there so we got a

really good night sleep last night we

were well rested and we're off some of

for some adventures McDowell's got his

summer hat on summer must have arrived

so what's happening babe I got the old

coconut to lit there's a couple of

coconut trees over there well hopefully

we'll do better erm and the fish okay so

we're off on a greedy old coconut hunt

yeah Oh check it in therapy coconuts in

that direction off we go

the Brooks are made up of four small

islands lying just off the coast of

Cardwell they proved a great anchorage

and give protection from the southeast

trades they made a lovely stopover with

a fringing reef to explore and are a

great drop off point to the reef and

Anchorage's

will we make it - sure we have to do to

walk it's pretty shallow a long way out

the tides coming in it's in our favor we

shall make it to the coconut tree will

Lala we're gonna cooking nuts I gotta

fix the coconut wonderful good job good

job

we've made it I was gonna get some

busted up fede for sure anyway right to

the sand edge well how's that for

service oh oh right there beautiful look

at them

oh that's three or four well wonderful

look at him bed

so while Darren hit it off down the

beach to check out one tree that hit

spotted I checked out the wildlife on

this peaceful Island

Darren deemed the coconuts on that tree

too small to plunder so we hit it off

around the corner to see what we could

find oh goodness me this is a pretty

Beach little limb coconuts over there we

just stumbled onto the mother lode

awesome

we might be I might be our lucky day

McDowell's instinct had been right on as

we found ourselves a veritable coconut

plantation just found this little baby a

couple of new hooks on there we'll get a

run out of it let's see what we can

dredge up yeah what do you know we know

we know mm-hmm

we're not winner fish for dinner with

the coconut tool in action

we were ripe for the haul can you do it

can you do it the hunter

[Applause]

my baby got the angle of the dangle

whoa coconut coconut coconut cream pie

yeah beautiful we're looking forward to

it

yummy Thank You universe thank you

mother nature might have a crack at it

I can do it you could be here for days

feels like it's more of a meaty one than

a watery one it's very light I think

it's got more maintenance oh my god I'm

hungry

it's got some get some milk in it it's

pretty good

lovely sweet sister he didn't have much

milk in there but he's full of meat

right look at that little fella yeah

baby oh good fresh coconut yummy

you're a master my honey have a crack at

that

under the shade of the coconut cream
