we had been exploring the beautiful

Capel Isles with its lush bushland and

sandy white beaches and today we've been

foraging with our friends on the rule

this beautiful crayfish that Troy caught

when we were out hunting for food the

other day so I'm going to make us a

scrummy lunch so what we're gonna do is

pray on the barbie which would be really

nice just cut them in half slay them

with a really nice butter and then cook

them up so I've made these pork balls so

we're gonna barbecue our crayfish and

lay half a crayfish here and these poke

balls that basically just got carrot

beans capsicum avocado corn and red

cabbage and a bit of lettuce and I've

put an Asian style dressing on top which

is really yummy so I'm just mixing up my

butter right now and in here I have got

cattle I'm leaves zest of lime ginger

some chili and butter in a bit of garlic

so that gives it that really nice Asian

influence so I'm just gonna mix that up

into my butter that's gonna get loaded

onto the crayfish thank you very much

after cutting the Krays in half we lay

them on the barbie

okay so we put the cut side down first

give it a few minutes get a bit of color

into it and then we flip it over

I've been leather on my lovely asian

butter ingredient funny old thing with

us is that every time we light the

barbecue the wind comes up pretty weird

in there

so I put this plate it's stuck to it for

the tinfoil i'ma put a plate there to

stop the breeze from getting in a

blowing a barbecue out but I've come up

with another plan we're gonna try and

get an extendable arm like they have on

television see if we can give it a

rotating arm floor it at some stage but

maybe them up after that we can order we

can move the barbecue out and around

it's like a robot and have influence

that's my idea okay so it's the melon

pretty good it's gonna smoke coming out

the back take a look at going yeah baby

this one went straight from stove to

plate so how lucky are we to be sitting

in this beautiful bay at great keppel

island there's a beach right behind us

this is beautiful push Hawks and today

we're munching on crayfish for lunch

what a great day

so with Darrin pondering how to sharpen

his crow hunting skills we took off

exploring the island before picking up

some long-awaited boat parts from the

afternoon ferry

it's got a few open quarry I got pretty

happy today we've finally got Al and you

go up to all cool support a good-looking

little piece of kit I'll show you the

inside of it just so you can see how it

works that's pretty much it's just full

of shoobs and ously water passes through

there and the oil off of the gearbox

guys in true this circuit here and and

that's it I've got a rule bolt in there

and you can see these there's a this

forced or is it just hold that color on

that and there's a there's two clamps

one other around and these two oil feed

lines and return and that was about it

it's just a little bit fiddly in there

that's all yeah we're just topping the

oil up now and it's all looking pretty

good

we're just this is the old one that come

out of it and I've just done a little

law of test on it before I disconnected

it I um hopeful thing yeah the water saw

it and just left the oil the oil lawns

attached and

oil was coming in around this this was

joined here somebody with a oxy torch

had probably Bros it up with it without

a problem so anyway okay but that I

might get somebody to fix that one dome

will have a little spare for us

late afternoon found us joining our

friends for a beach barbecue yeah sort

of similar to yoga Troy had shown Darren

the best wood to use as a spear here

he's straightening it over the fire

these gatherings are a great way to meet

new people between us we shared

fresh-caught fish fire roasted

vegetables and bank kumara swapping

stories well into the night

we are the sporting

so we have to push up which we're gonna

do today

lining ourselves up for it but what we

do is we we go in two hours for my tie

that's great and it would just give us

enough water to

so I've been styling a little pretty

nicely and I am just actually making a

lot bigger you must sell it for us much

and settle down away but I think we

might be getting near the point where we

into a into the chatter let's go check

see what's going on

we're coming down and Beyond kids all

and yes I it's what sort of stopped to

get any less well yeah which is pretty

good it would we're still making six

knots but we're pushing probably too

much working hard you know he loves

getting up for a night nah not some time

so you know pushing along we've got this

massive sword we're pushing against

anyway we're still going pretty good

lucky we got a bit of brains to get us

through yeah yes down really well

pretty hell pretty happy with a pie

the shell eyes there was a bit of luck

yes I could it's always quite a long

haul that's about 30 miles long and when

the tide comes in it actually floods

floods in from both ends

and creates a little bit of extra Todd

there's a tall it's an hero looking

really big that's some of the biggest

thing Australia and a little place in

the middle of drawers it's is actually

called the cattle crossing because I

graze cattle over on my parasol we just

we just come up and we sit in a position

where we can sneak through on the next

high tide and

erotic

you know you're having a good sale when

the oven is all alone so we're having a

nice fresh quinoa salad today and I've

got red onion rich cabbage broccoli some

celery and some capsicum and some

sun-dried tomatoes for a real punch of

flavor it's all going to get mixed in

with a fresh smells of basil pesto so

yeah yummy scrummy we're really enjoying

this result

anyway I'm going to mix it up and munch

away time to eat time to eat thank you
