the site looks rough but I've started

this epoxy patch is cured my filth is

cured there started getting some of

these little odd little holes filled all

my radius work is cured

so I think I'm gonna start on this side

to start working this room over spend

some time in here sanding it out sounds

like fun

so as a quick outer sanding sanded all

this out give it a nice scuff

everything's feeling nice and smooth

ready for the next layer of epoxy worked

over this bulk added quite a bit more

and my hands are a little numb from the

orbital so I'm going to switch up tools

and they come down from another tool for

a while get this plug cut off it's in my

way

okay little by little thank him off nice

and clean actually clicks there's cloth

up in there no clue what it was but it's

smooth now I think the next thing I want

to do is put a patch in this for tonight

kind of fill this big gap back here all

the way across okay to fill in this

piece right here I've got this little

scrap of 94 that's gonna fit it filled

this entire thing with epoxy so I'm just

gonna rip a nice strip off of here and

I'll be able to tuck this up and fill

this gap that way it'll keep the weight

down and give it a nice flat transition

10-15 minutes that's right

okay I'm gonna have to cut this off for

today I'll pick this up a little bit

later I gotta go

he'll be relaxed time to get warm again

god it's freezing

good morning well we woke up to a

beautiful morning here in Seattle

it's 26 degrees out and drifting snow

I think it's a good day to get off the

boat

gonna have some family time

try the other one

oh it's going now let's go

Emma get over to this day grab on to it

let's go it is blowing out here okay

to turn off the water

blowing 25 that's a windchill of about

10 do not throw that at me

no no please don't

be wondering where we're going we're

going to Texas

so the day that we left is started

snowing which should be fine

because in Seattle normally with snow a

little bit for about an hour or so and

then it would melt even though it would

shut down the entire city which is kind

of funny but it did end up being way

bigger than we expected and the end

actually coined it to be Snowmageddon

but it really did worry us because we

were gone and it's known quite a bit I

think in some parts up to three feet and

it did not go away it actually caused

our flight to be delayed by four and a

half hours which was exhausting because

they did tell us until we got there and

checked in delayed this is something

that we always do is a tiny year we go

down to visit my parents to celebrate

and this is really important for me to

share with Emma because it's part of my

heritage so it's part of her heritage we

celebrate lots of traditions lots of

food and she gets the opportunity to see

all the cousins and the meals

grandparents and we just have so much

fun and lots and lots so much food I

think that my family is

and it was time to go home and again we

were delayed because the snow had not

stopped in Seattle or in the Pacific

Northwest so we checked the flights

everything looked good if we were so

excited to go home until I was excited

to see what the conditions were on SP

basic and we were delayed and we were

delayed and there was a gate change and

then we were delayed somewhere we didn't

even end up coming back in till 1:00

a.m. the next day

which really sucked and we were

exhausted but work has to be done we

have this shovel off snow off the decks

and get unpacked and get back to

business and we are back we arrived home

late last night to an ice ball of a boat

this is crazy you guys I've never seen

so much snow before here in Seattle and

we're gonna be getting another winter

storm watch tonight and then later in

the week so the teals just trying to

clear off as much snow as possible

getting some of that weight off for the

next storm to hit this place was torn

apart last night when we got back so I

am going to play catch up get laundry

done and get Emma back in to her

schooling which as you can see she's

super excited just happy to be home huh

yeah

back to our usual

I'm getting there

got half the boat cleared off this water

looks cold though look at this the snow

doesn't melt in it

doing everything I can to keep for

falling in that be a chilly dip keep

plowing along gotta get something sweet

out here

okay not too bad

got most of its left off the boat see

how the lake looks looks chilly

not many people out here taking

advantage of the lake today city sounds

pretty quiet actually

okay we're ready for round two supposed

to hit us later today okay guys round

two it is what they're calling this

Snowmageddon teal is out there right now

dusting off another layer of snow and

it's still snowing it's wet snow oh jeez

I almost slipped the bag I had to wear

snow boots not okay

holy cow this is North Tower yeah it's

like an inch yeah just sell it in maybe

incident it's wet though it's heavy

yeah get this stuff off oh I don't want

this palette all night is it supposed to

go all night off and on we'll see

this is so awesome this is our last

winter can you handle it no it's your

turn it's my turn I'll do it I'll do it

it's kind of fun isn't it tell you slip

and fall in hey don't walk up there to

get it clear oh man this is soupy in

Seattle I mean it snows here but not

this much yeah don't fall

hook your leg around that stay don't go

in I'll never hear the end of that

gosh this is in one hour okay if I got

it let's head inside the warmed up it is

but you know what you'll love more

therapy in about an hour okay let's go

inside warm up let's go okay so it looks

like we picked up more than we bargained

for

because teal and Emma have caught the

flu they are out for the count and looks

like compass is very excited that we're

home so he's comforting the captain

we're gonna cut this short so I can

nurse them back to health but I wanted
