saline and fun where we have extended
videos with deleted scenes and
uncensored content and you can find us
at patreon.com saline and fun we should
be sailing today it's a windy right
today we are installing a new bulkhead
over the existing bulkhead with
exterior-grade plywood 1/2 inch and we
are going to use this new bulkhead to
shape stoop through past pathway to the
back cabin there's two piers already but
the existing ones were only like 20 24
inches tall the previous owner used it
for just for storage but we want to be
able to have access from the master to
the galley or the other side to the
bathroom in inclement weather we don't
have to go outside and I think it's just
it's nice for a livability of the boat
for us so now we've cut them to about 40
inches roughly on both sides and we got
the idea the newer models have this to
use this boat can definitely take that
but we just thought well since its kind
of in the condition it is the
deconstructed phase we'll take the
opportunity to strengthen the bulkhead a
little bit since we did remove some of
the material that was there the
bulkheads are play an important role to
keep the hulls from flexing too much so
yeah I was a little worried about the
existing plywood and the new plywood
laying flat together I think there
probably be some voids in there and air
and moisture can collect so we're gonna
put this like quarter-inch insulation
just to fill those gaps and hopefully
insulate that a little better too today
I'm going to be painting this mahogany
plywood so the reason we're having to
paint the walls at all is because we had
a miscommunication early on the captain
wanted to remove part of this foiled
back linear and I thought he wanted to
remove all of it it acted as a moisture
barrier so it was unfortunate
this little goof happened but to rectify
the situation we are you
seen an exterior grade primer sealer
which is also a stain blocker so it's a
little bit thicker doesn't even matter
if you get paint on didn't you paint
this ceiling with this kills yeah I
don't have to worry about cutting in
well right boil it again you're done
faster and again we're using this boil
to fill any voids that the two pieces of
plywood may create once they were put
together kind of wallpaper is that 9 to
5 that's important so I started doing
the other side cuz I'm like okay that's
a little silly there is behind the
scenes prep so even though that didn't
look like a lot of work we're ready to
have some fun
[Music]
oh my hand is cramping I'm holding on to
their sail too hard dang those rollers
they they um I mean they're fun to ride
down but there's also hope are you
turning around a little bit
[Music]
trying to get out of the way at this
lobster boat and they keep heading right
for us
and talks about all the time every every
plastic bottle or bag we see is a
Chinese man of war to him and then we
get close to I was like oh no it's a
another litter bug put that up what I
meant to say was Portuguese man-of-war
they can be found in the Atlantic
Pacific and Indian Oceans and gets its
name because of its resemblance to an
18th century Portuguese warship under
full sail and though I keep calling it a
jellyfish it's actually a colony of
organisms made of specialized parts
called Zoids whose assemblage work
together as an individual animal it's
actually really
freaking jellyfish
or cat brands and down on the Portuguese
man-of-war
they can't propel themselves so they use
their tops like sails to catch the wind
and move with the current in the tide
and they can be seen traveling in groups
of a thousand or more
human fatalities are rare but the sting
can be extremely painful treating the
area with very hot saltwater or heat is
recommended to neutralize the sting they
can be dangerous even weeks after death
so make sure you don't do this water
they can reach up to about a foot wide
but below water their tentacles can
reach down to a hundred feet or more

and just shortly after the captain
adjusts my sail work the weather changes

and unfurl the Genoa

leakage down right now but let's take a
break from all of that and have a dance
party hey saline and a hell of a lot of
fun how about give us two thumbs up
whenever young oh that's where the hook
is
