late afternoon what happens with eight

hours of jet lag I'm here I have arrived

made it to France all by myself

uber plane two trains and me and I pay

my taxes yeah and I picked you up

so finally made it to my playing my

plane got delayed so it took about 24

hours to get here but I'm here

delayed is the computer broke and had to

replace it and then the one they

replaced it with is also broken

gotta love Delta so it's good yeah we

just went down and saw some of the boats

not our boat but boats like ours and now

we are walking to the town in La

Rochelle

shell is the largest port city in France

I don't think that's true no that was

true the duck wars at 1830 words Mullis

tumult amidst time for La Rochelle all

of the reproductions were stolen and

hidden away in that Tower

there was a great war to retrieve them

night in La Rochelle since I've been

so nice yes it's it was 50 degrees today

actually 58 which is unheard of sunny

and beautiful sky so tonight is gonna be

a nice thing about the weather that's

all we can talk about so we're drinking

our French tea and eating our macaroons

and cheesecake this cheesecake is a

definite need here

just think it's good talking

they never give you a napkin here yeah

ever since I've been on these napkins I

understand trying to save the planet but

what about my sticky fingers not sticky

think it's bursting what is this

we're standing in downtown La Rochelle

the old district and we're about to go

to dinner we're trying to go to dinner

early but there is no early dinner

Simon o'clock is it's definitely hot no

it's not the sidewalk or in the sidewalk

that's not another sidewalk that used to

be a boat ramp launched bows yes it is

underwater you are correct with that one

so we're gonna wait it out for the food

we have no choice I have no choice there

are a couple places that actually do

offer a continuous dining but the

reviews are in the threes and we don't

really want to do anything like that

because that's basically testing your

stomach capability nope can't do that

okay I can get a French hat Wow

have Thursday Thursday Thanksgiving so

apparently Europe has started doing

Black Friday in last three to five years

and it's actually Black Friday English

so I don't know the thing you know what

it represents except for there's a lot

of sales that's right

it represents capitalism it's a day

where we know the family is together in

the US and we can get them all out the

shop together after Thanksgiving here

not really sure morning I just woke up

well I didn't just wake up because I'm

showered and I've had coffee and I've

gotten dressed so it's morning and I'm

up and we are about to head out for the

day we are gonna go to the market

because it's Saturday so it's a big

market day we're gonna see if we can get

some oysters and then we are gonna go to

a place that David went to last week

that had really good burgers and the

owner I guess is pretty entertaining so

we were gonna go there and I was gonna

try the burgers and then we were gonna

go to dinner so basically a day of

eating we have all of our plans revolve

around food which is okay from vacation

and it's in the 30s today much colder

than yesterday a little rainy so not

really a good day for walking they're

probably gonna drive around Oh we're

also gonna go to the French version of

Home Depot and try to buy gas cans for

the boats that don't have this stupid

lever thing that makes it impossible to

actually pour gas out of them they just

have normal gas cans with the vent on

the back the old style so we're gonna

stock up on those probably by about 300

of them and then resell them in the US

illegally just kidding

earlier by like three but it's it's

towards 6:00 okay it's totally worth

flying to France

just to buy these gas can

okay ceiling you ready yes okay you're

gonna walk around you can see that the

path of in this dungeon and not driving

and we get to launch out yeah like a

Thundercat 1/4 blind corner

great craps

we gonna get at the market do we even

have a plan even if you haven't been in

times that were I went last time we're

here yeah it's been a while so we're

just gonna look around and see what we

got really planned cooking too much

are we heading

what for just to check it out yeah right

now it's probably in the 40s at 9c which

is almost 4:00 it's like 48 but I think

with the moistfull other or moist air

rather moist it's very moist

so it feels a lot colder more like 30

degrees Fahrenheit

so okay rabbits

like for three dollars a dozen four

kilogram I found the truck
