really in the money at the very least so

ago I flew in the the floor so this

floor is glued in position which may

make you wonder a bit you might remember

a few brief you follow this all the way

through that there are three sections

billed under this floor some of them are

accessible maybe the theme boards out if

that border can get it to it though

trouble with this one because the last

step is in that section you can't get at

that forward sections of I'll put in

do it'll make vanilla more evenly I'm

just working on some some cupboards but

that won't cut in there to go in just

breathing on the very start of the

cupboards on the here and then they've

covered with a hinge door on this end a

shot from here and the cupboard under

the sunder the sink which will be a

curious shaped cover but this one would

be ideal that bar from storage toilet on

whatever so that's coming on well let's

put a PVC floor down so it's watertight

shouldn't need be a but for the worktop

just can be completely painted out

the ceiling switch put an LED bulb in it

reasonable quality stainless with a

glass lens light so that we find up in

strip light above the mirror or not

maybe see how it is that's what's going

on in here

as you know I'm rather fond of these

bosch 12-volt professional tools and I

was very lucky for my birthday to get

this jigsaw as a present 12 volt

professional jigsaw and used it a few

times you've seen me isn't it I really

like it it's an excellent so I one other

thing is behind using these torval tools

is that they make very good power tools

on a boat and the course for that you

need there the ability to charge them

soul volt so you think of super battery

12 volt DC same as you go through the

port are you think it will be easy to

charge them but the lovely people have

boss don't really know this isn't hungry

in truth I don't really make a battery

charge and to run off with 12 volts now

they do make a system a very expensive

system that you know for workmen to

charge from their cars but involves

plugging into the car 12 volt from that

they're inverting it up to 220 240 volt

whatever and from that they are then

using the standard battery charger to

charge the batteries seems uh turn on

system to go from 12 volt DC to change

that up to 220 volt IEC - in order to be

able to change that back down the floor

multi-city - is ridiculously and then

this year they pulled out a new battery

charger looks like they see this a lot

less technical oops not to either and in

fact is quadtree and it comes with this

the transformer mains transformer

attached to it and blow in the hole when

you read the specs it's a 12 volt DC

transformer so you two of the 20 in

putting out 12 DC so the obvious spot

there is that you can simply cut that

off

they're like into 12 volts DC which is

what I've done I said they're not that

expensive so it's always worth

experimenting I've done that I'll put up

a cigarette lighter socket on the end of

there put in 12 volt DC straight into

the charger unless you can see flashes

which indicates its Charter that's what

we're running good but they look great

but it never stops flashing never gets

it was supposed to glow permanently when

the battery is fully charged and it

never blowers apparently so my first

thought was it wasn't working

I tried reversing the polarity then you

get absolutely no like doing anything so

back to that spended or the correct

polarity oh so I wonder whether this was

gonna be a disaster

however so far after about a week of

experiments I did I'm confident that the

batteries are actually charging I put a

flat battery in it's in there for a bit

I think it out the taller so I think it

does charge but these mean with the

question of why it never gets the global

permanently and I'm going to make an

assumption is I was zooming that the LED

glows permanently wind the battery

voltage becomes the same as the input

voltage so I suspect that this is

conditioned exactly 12 volt and when the

battery gets to 12 volt the only stock

special

that's what I suspect and of course out

my cigarette lighter I've got bored

battery power which is probably over 12

volts which means that this battery our

suspect never reaches the voltage of

what's coming out there so it flashing

permanently and this is me I'm putting

two and two together and possibly making

fire but I don't know that's basically

Elcom red light in the car so I'm

assuming that's out of this world

it may be worth I've made this up it has

one of those and if you can get in

photos on that see that screw let's got

one of those clever screws that's

designed just be screwed in and not

unscrewing look at there so a bit of

effort to get that screw out moving that

out maybe the same kind of electronics

in there but since Matthew voltage maybe

the maybe that could be built into this

system so that actually the LED one's

probably maybe it's not necessary let me

just accept the fact that the LED

flashes will the batteries in

smoke battery out and stops and and you

know that at once your batteries been in

there for a while its charged maybe

that's enough anyway the initial

experiments suggest that it is possible

to charge these bosch 12-volt power

tools from Torvald oh god I should carry

on and perhaps report again in a few

weeks but ok that's s it for this week
