hello viewers it's Pizza patch yeah we

are building and cruising sailboat and

the whole point of these video blogs is

to is to record that build the show well

it's really like motive to spend some

period of three years or so working

there's a bad she she can to build a

32-foot boat of reasonable size sober

and plywood so that's what we're doing

recording that as it goes along and

still in that sort of winter phase I

guess where there's still a bit

intermittent and some snow this week all

sorts of lovely sunshine but

temperatures are fairly chilly so

whether there's a bit up and down

forecast for next week he's delightful

we'll see what comes

so when define si which means mainly

we've been working

you know probably for several couple of

months now on the interior trying to get

the interior is done done as much as

possible

and here we are and they know why we're

in that's a strange phase of the bill

because it's at times it's rather hard

to to show you what to go ahead on I can

sort of show you what I've done then

what's completed this week so if you

walk this way a zoo or swimming round

here in here you'll see that that they

hates and how completely blasts out all

through you've heard in the cupboard

under the worktop and at one stage I was

talking about painting these gray and in

fact I bought some great paint and

painted that the interior that shelf

they're great and I hated it it looked

really terrible the colour was nothing

like the colour that I perceived on the

swatches it was far too dark it was

almost a military grade it was horrible

and they also Karen come down where they

consulting session and decided in the

end to paint it the same color as

everything else for the simple reason

that the color will come will have

flooring the idea that the other color

we stood that the toilet itself in here

that's the kind of blue wears a blue box

of blue grama color

the floor in and we colored before my

caries are blue that's coming on here so

that would be coloured we're gonna have

a hardwood martini fit off trim around

there so it'll be plenty of color sorry

and we decided just to go to that

standard pearl white and I have to sound

please all done I've ordered the glue

filler for the Formica

let's step outside for my the acoustics

bit better a little echoey in there yeah

next thing we're in another strange

phases going on of course as I'm sure

you're all aware huh very very hard to

miss is that they've this coronavirus

thing that's going on serious stuff and

different countries are reacting

differently to

and here in Germany this actually the

erection is based on the state the

federal state reaction the state were in

here need his accent Lower Saxony

it's basically shut all schools it's

advised us to to not travel and one of

the effects has being that the hardware

store is shut now which means of course

they the the possibility to nip out and

get some little thing that you need for

the project is gone now it need to be

organized make sure all the materials

are here

additionally the nice people of

hammerstone are doing an improved trade

so basically things have to be ordered

online as I say the glue for the Formica

I've ordered hasn't arrived yet I'm

waiting on it I've got several things

ordered waiting to come in and that's

where we are

can't really complain but but that's

what we are makes life no it makes the

bills require a bit more hock and as a

computer

area we've got I've got the big loss on

here the corner birth he's completely

lost out that's all finished and here

when our second coat it with undercoat

all through here that's where we are

there I'm still intention but some only

trim around here so she'll be getting on

with that very soon trim that the

cubbyhole so I can get this bouquet

painted here another thing I did this

week and also not particularly

picturesque is it but it's very dark in

there but you can spice it you see that

the battery is in that location so

there's the battery box in there and I

had this battery selector switch you see

there in that Bayou there earlier I

think was silly because I've to get it

it always had to lift this board when

you think that soon when it's finished

there'll be a mattress on there's a lift

down on the mattress on and one of her

other bags and clothes and clutter on

there to get the battery status which so

I moved it out here just kind of hold

behind there for the wires to come

through and located it there I've still

got to cut the bolts off as you can tell

I was a little bit long but so switch

and then put this vent in up there just

to vent the battery area and you know

battery type it may or may not lead to

veins but that's there

so nicely tucked up on the stairs they

were all that painting and missing the

village what point I felt the desire to

do something a bit different so I've

made up this piece of wood that woman

still in the process of varnishing it I

hope this piece of wood that the clock

and barometer don't tell it's going to

come up here gonna fit somewhere like

that it's a piece of cherry and I say

that the clock and barometer and Oh

light film there and the light has a

switch that hangs out behind the plate

so I need you to put a hole in there for

a switch from the light to a PNG but

that's looking good there's another

seven coats of varnish but is on its way

there so you get some bombs on that yeah

they're fitted up there as soon as

possible something else that happened

this week event I would like to take

this opportunity to voice my thanks to

seeker were selling challenge coins so

12 of us YouTube boat builders but

renovators were offering challenge coins

and they were being sold through the SV

seeker chakra store and I'm going to

tell you a little bit about that it was

it was an idea from Doug Duggar Betsy

and they sponsored the whole thing it

was it was fantastic they contacted us

were like that can't speak for the

others but I know what happened with me

they contacted me offered to get the

coins made and to sell them and the

whole thing excellent and and a good

share of the profit most the poverty of

a profit came to us so entirely

sponsored by Doug and Betsy which was

brilliant

and anyhow recently they decided I guess

they weren't selling many of the coins I

decided to stop selling them to take

them off their shells for up some space

and they've sent the unsold coins to the

various builders again I can only speak

for myself but mine arrived I picked him

up from the German customs unfortunately

and German customs the other day and

went yesterday and yeah so I will now be

selling them through my shop on my

website if anybody wants one that's my

website they're there and I say I really

like so massive thank you to dr. Betsy

and of course I'm in here painting and

building up interiors and when I look

around the other boat builders around

quite a few of them they're in the same

situation up there as response all right

fitting out the interior of his boat

dogs through an interior fitted out I

think one of his was his most recent

video or at least very recently was as

the hates so in the same sort of

situation SP mistress Bruce also doing

his floorboards was me

fitting out the interior so a lot of us

are in that in the same place now she's

kind of wacky isn't it the way it goes

yeah we are you know her interiors and

just came up with a perfect punt they're

in the same boat they're in the same
