Last week saw a major milestone being passed in the journey that is this boat build, and this week we move on, finishing the keel fit and preparing to get some glass on the bare wood section of the below the waterline. I also try out a material that I've never worked with before!

This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
