Continuing my quest to make this boat able to be steered by a bit of wood that can be angled in the water, I finalise the fabrication of the tiller head fitting, test fit the tiller and temporarily fit the rudder lower end plate, while I wistfully await more temperate times.

This is the story of the building of a Jay Benford designed, 31.8ft, junk schooner-rigged cruising sailboat. The videos are a week-by-week record of the build as it progresses and aim to show as much detail as possible of the various aspects of the build.
