Michael Allhoff (born 1964) started regatta sailing in his youth in the dinghy class Flying Junior. The rainy weather in Germany drove him to the open sea – with the historic barquentine “SY Our Svanen” 3,200 nautical miles across the Atlantic from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to Cape Town (South Africa), with the ketch SY Regina Maris from Buenos Aires to Cape Horn or with a catamaran at sea in the islands Cayos de Cuba. Today, the journalist and author sails on board offshore regattas off the coast of Torrevieja. He founded and organizes the annually #FunTrophyTorrevieja, this year in it´s 5th edition. And shares his passion for sailing in praxis trainings.
