  • In celebration of Women's History Month, we are celebrating all the strong, dedicated and hardworking women who volunteer their time as US Sailing certified race officials.
This inspiring group of women grows more each year due to the efforts of more women becoming involved in the various Race Administration, working, and training committees with US Sailing.
Did you know that of the 949 US Sailing Race Officials certifications, 21% are women?
Or that 27% of the Umpire certifications are held by women?
We are working to find ways to help these numbers grow.
One way is by offering more "For Women, Taught by Women" Race Official training. Women empowering women.

US Sailing is offering an Online Club Judge Seminar for Women taught by Mary Pierce, (RAJ Area A, NJ) Edith Collins, (RAJ Area D, NJ, CRO, UIT) and Sarah Ashton (NJ, former chair of Judges Committee).
This online seminar begins on April 17, 2023 and runs through May 8, 2023.
For more information and to register, please visit the Judge Seminar Calendar on the US Sailing website.
