As one of the Italian Navy’s (Marina Militare) primary training vessels, Nave Palinuro serves as a floating classroom where future petty officers from Mariscuola Taranto and students from the Morosini Naval School learn the art of seamanship. 🌊⚓
Built in 1934 in France and acquired by Italy in the 1950s, this beautiful vessel has been shaping the next generation of sailors since 1955.

The ship will be open for public visits on August 22 and 23 during the following visiting hours:
⏰ Morning: 10:00 – 12:00
⏰ Afternoon/Evening: 15:00 – 22:00
On August 24, she will set sail again, heading north to Imperia for a major sailing regatta, before continuing her training campaign across various Italian and European ports through the end of October.
