ORGANIZING AUTHORITY

The Hellenic Offshore Racing Club is organizing the 54th Aegean Sailing Rally, which will be held from Friday 14th to Monday 24th July 2017 under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, the North Aegean Region and General Secretariat of Sports. 

VENUE

 The event will be sailed in the waters of the Central and North-East Aegean Sea.

The programme is as follows: 

Thursday July 13th 2017

19:00 Skipper’s Meeting at the HORC premises.

20:30 Welcome Ceremony at the HORC premises.

Friday July 14th 2017

1st Offshore Race: Faliron – Syros

Start: From Faliron bay at 18:00 hrs. (Time Limit: Saturday, July 15 at 19:00 hrs)

Course:

ORCi category: Faliro - Kythnos to port – Serifopoula to port – Ermoupoli Distance: 85,5 n.m.

ORC Club category: Faliro - Syros to port – Ermoupoli Distance: 76,0 n.m.

IRC courses will be decided according to the boat length of entries.

Monday July 17th 2017

2nd Offshore Race: Syros - Chios

Start: Outside of Ermpoupoli port at 10:00 hrs. (Time Limit: Tuesday, July 18 at 14:00 hrs)

Course:

ORCi category: Syros - Dilos to port - Tragonisi to port - Venetiko to port - Chios Distance: 93,5 n.m.

ORC Club category: Faliro - Venetiko to port – Chios Distance: 84,0 n.m.

In case of strong winds, ORCi course will be the same with ORC Club
