- NOTICE OF RACE 1. RULES 1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in the: Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) Class Rules International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea Notice of Race (NOR) & Sailing Instruction (SI) RRS Appendix P, Special Procedures for Rule 42, will apply. 2 ADVERTISING 2.1 Competitor advertising will be restricted in accordance with ISAF Regulation 20, Advertising Code. 3 ELIGIBILTY AND ENTRY 3.1 The regatta is open to all boats of the Optimist class who are members of a club affiliated to SingaporeSailing, or in the case of international entrants are members of a club affiliated to their own national authority (MNA). 3.2 All local competitors must have at least SOF Opti-Racer certification. 3.3 Optimist Sailors listed in the SingaporeSailing issued Gold Fleet list (as of November 2015) shall sail as one fleet (Gold Fleet) for the entire event. All other sailors in the national ranking shall sail in Silver Fleet for the entire event. 3.4 Eligible boats may enter by completing the attached Entry Form and sending it, together with the required fee non-refundable fee, to Changi Sailing Club 32 Netheravon Road, Singapore 508508 Tel: +65 6545 2876 Website: www.csc.org.sg by the closing dates: 15th November 2015 at 1700hrs (Silver Fleet) 22nd November 2015 at 1700hrs (Gold Fleet) Overseas entrants may submit their entry by email to enquiry@csc.org.sg . Payment of entry fees & boat charter for overseas entrants can be made upon arrival. 4 FEES The required fees (inclusive of GST) per fleet event are as follows: Type Early Bird fee (On or before the closing dates) Normal fee (After the closing dates) Changi Sailing Club Members $45.00 $67.00 Non-Members $65.00 $96.00 5 SCHEDULE OF RACES 5.1 Event Date No. of Races Time Silver Fleet Tuesday, 1 st December 1 st , 2nd & 3rd 1100hrs (First Warning) Wednesday, 2 nd December 4 th, 5th & 6th Thursday, 3rd December 7 th, 8th & 9th Friday, 4 th December 10th, 11th & 12th 5.2 Event Date No. of Races Time Gold Fleet Monday, 7th December 1 st , 2nd & 3rd 1100hrs (First Warning) Tuesday, 8 th December 4 th, 5th & 6th Wednesday, 9th December 7 th, 8th & 9th Thursday, 10th December 10th, 11th & 12th 5.3 Skippers briefing will be at 0930hrs daily at the Changi Multi-Purpose Hall. 5.4 Races maybe sail ahead of schedule except that there must be at least one (1) race on the last day and there should be no more than four (4) races on each day. 5.5 On the last day of the regatta, no last warning signal shall be made after 1600hrs. 5.6 Prize presentation will be as soon as possible after the conclusion of the last race and any following protest hearings.
